Overview

Responsible for ensuring flour production adheres to customer specifications and for maintaining optimal flour extraction rates.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance
• Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician
• Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant
• Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns
• Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures
• Ensure production staff adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety work procedures
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for necessary materials and services
