Engineer - Regulation & Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Vehicle Regulation Compliance and Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) activities.
• Identify, interpret, and understand applicable vehicle standards and regulatory requirements for relevant markets and countries.
• Maintain, update, and circulate the regulatory compliance list to ensure adherence for all new and facelift vehicle projects.
• Track changes and developments in vehicle standards and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders, including Perodua and DMC.
• Participate in and support internal and external discussions related to vehicle standards and regulatory matters.
• Assist in VTA and certification processes.
• Support activities related to ASEAN NCAP compliance and assessment.
• Participate in ISO, Quality Policy (QP), and Operational Procedures (OP) initiatives.
