Engineer (Rock Engineering)

We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our Building and Infrastructure Programme Centre where you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to plan, design and deliver rock and underground engineering solutions that enhance the capability and resilience of defence facilities supporting MINDEF/SAF’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute significantly to rock; civil, structural and geotechnical engineering aspects of defence infrastructure projects
• Plan, supervise and review geological and geotechnical site investigations and interpret complex subsurface and rock mass conditions
• Perform rock mass classification (RMR, Q-system, GSI, RQD), stability analyses, and design of appropriate rock support systems
• Design and review primary and permanent rock support systems, including shotcrete, rock bolts, lattice girders, pre-stressing systems and final linings
