Engineer, Senior Software - Desktop & Cloud Applications

My client is an Australian company based in Brisbane and they're looking for an experienced Python developer who also has experience designing and developing real-time embedded controls specifically over wired communication interfaces such as Ethernet.

You'll be working in a small team - currently 4 engineers - and you'll be working closely with the clients Electronics and Mechanical teams too.

From a technical perspective you'll need the following:

Proficiency in understanding the interaction between software and communications interfaces.

Skilled in object-oriented architecture and design principles, and how they apply in Python.

Knowledge of CSV, jQuery, JSON, VSCode, Git, Pytest, PyInstaller, PyLint.

You'll need a good eye for detail, be comfortable with projects who's priorities can change quickly and not be afraid of the documentation side of the business.
