Engineer Take-off Technician

Position Summary

The Engineer Take-Off Technician is responsible for performing detailed quantity take-offs and scope analysis for underground precast concrete products used in stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water distribution systems.

This role supports estimating and sales by ensuring accurate material quantification for precast structures such as manholes, junction boxes, vaults, wet wells, catch basins, and related components.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret civil engineering plans, profiles, and utility drawings for wet utility systems
• Perform detailed take-offs for:
• Sanitary sewer manholes and structures
• Storm drain structures and catch basins
• Water vaults and meter boxes
• Wet wells and lift station structures
• Inlet/outlet pipe openings and core requirements
• Identify structure types, diameters, depths, base sections, risers, cones, flat tops, and specialty components
