Job Description

OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE
Engineering coordinator is responsible for:
Work with design team to manage BOM, MSB BOM, ECO needed for programs and meet program schedule

Coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, assemblies, and information between sections or departments from pro-active build through Mass Production. Resolve material shortage with appropriate groups

As focal point for material and material issues for programs. Manage disposition of materials affected by change orders

Assumes total material ownership during the New Product Design Phases and into Mass Production

Run BOM costing and coordinating with team to complete flow
KEY RESULTS AREAS / DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & TIME SPENT ON THE DUTY

1. Bill of Material (BOM) Management
Create BOMs for NPI programs and is responsible for the processing of the BOM in the ERP system
