Engineering Designer

The Engineering Design team has an opening for the sheetmetal commodity. The Engineering Design department objective is to provide the best solution in the shortest possible time, always complying feasibility & quality. As part of the Engineering Design team you will be required to create and lead model designs from cradle to grave; this means your participation starts from UNV0, but also requires your support and fast response at launch events such as DCV´s, TT´s, PP´s, J1 as well as for TVM & Innovation projects.
Specific Description:
- Operates in CATIA / TC / TcVis with speed and efficiency.
- Generates quality CAD concepts and alternatives in a timely manner.
- Drives for resolution on compatibility, feasibility, and functionality issues.
- Creates/manages robust, parametric and associative B2P parts.
- Applies automation tools as applicable.
- Works directly with tool shops and suppliers on feasibility issues.
