Engineering Head – Auto Parts (MFPD)

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Process Engineering

• Lead design, development, and validation of auto components manufactured through MFPD / press forming processes
• Ensure feasibility of designs with respect to tooling, dies, material selection, and press capacity
• Drive DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Control Plans
• Support new product development from concept to SOP

2. Tooling & Die Development

• Oversee die design, die trials, and die optimization
• Coordinate with tool room, die makers, and external vendors
• Ensure reduction in die try-outs, rework, and downtime

3. Manufacturing Support & Process Improvement

• Optimize press shop processes for productivity, yield, and cycle time
• Drive cost reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives
