University of Southampton Malaysia (UoSM) is seeking to recruit a dynamic Engineering Lab Technician to be based in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor Bahru.

Job Description

To provide technical support and service to academic staff and students of School of Engineering so as to facilitate the smooth running of the engineering labs and allied academic activities, ensuring that laboratories operate safely and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities

• Aid the day-to-day lab-based teaching activities for the School of Engineering programs. This includes setting up, supervision and technical assistance in the various operational activities taking place in the lab.
• Ensure maintenance, service and smooth running of the equipment and associated infrastructure in School of Engineering labs.
• Create, maintain and update SOPs and Risk assessments for various equipment and activities for the labs.
