Job Purpose

Provide visionary technical leadership across multiple initiatives, designing and enabling fit‑for‑purpose, end‑to‑end technology solutions that span multiple platforms and engineering disciplines. Guide, coach, and uplift engineering practitioners, drive solution integrity, and shape the future engineering landscape for Nedbank. As an Engineering Lead in CBO, play a central role in the organisation’s digital modernisation journey — including the transition toward Camunda BPMN/DMN workflow automation, modern integration patterns, and cloud‑aligned architectures - ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrated, cross‑technology solutions that span multiple squads and programmes.
• Mentor and enable engineers, uplifting capability across software development, solution design, automation, and architecture.
