Engineering Maintenance Manager

Job Purpose: To assist the Manager to supervise a team of Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers to respond, investigate and manage emergency track incidents. The position requires the incumbent to work permanent night shift.

Responsibilities

Maintenance

• Provide recommendations to the management regarding track failure and recovery.
• Manage and deploy manpower for the emergency team.
• Responsible for team’s safety, welfare, attendance and disciplinary matters.
• Prepare weekly activation report and monthly report on man-hours.
• Plan and manage the calibration and inspection for tools and equipment.
• Plan and execute monthly and ad-hoc noise measurements island-wide.
• Provide recommendations to the management regarding track failure and recovery.
• Audit staff in accordance to Based Safety Observation Data Sheet (BBS).
