About the Role
Working closely with the Senior Engineering Manager for Products, this role leads, inspires and grows software engineering teams responsible for delivering and maintaining ABC’s web and mobile products in the audio space. From the hugely popular Listen website and app, through to triple J’s Hottest 100 and Unearthed, this position plays a key role in setting the direction for some of Australia’s most loved audio products.
The role combines people-first leadership with technical vision to ensure products are scalable, high quality, and audience-focused. It drives the adoption of modern development practices, encourages collaboration across teams, and empowers engineers to innovate and grow. This position is central to shaping how ABC builds, evolves, and maintains digital experiences for millions of Australians.
