Engineering Manager

Overview

A role for a GCC M&W qualified Engineering Manager with gold (or similar) plant background.

Salary: R140,000 – R200,000 per month.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leading a team of around 50 people, incl. the GESs and Foremen – Electrical and Mechanical, to manage legal compliance, maintenance and development in a gold plant environment.
• There is also a small opencast fleet, winders and water pumping from an old shaft to be managed.
• Previous experience responsible for conveyor belt, pumping systems, mills, cyclones, thickeners, screens, small cold room and a small yellow fleet – typical gold plant environment.

Requirements

• GCC Mines & Works
• Degree / National Diploma in Engineering – Electrical or Mechanical is preferred. Artisans who have subsequently qualfied with their GCC Mines & Works can also be considered
