IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world‑class palladium‑rhodium‑nickel‑copper‑gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanized state‑of‑the‑art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”.

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12
• Valid Diesel Mechanic, Electrical or Fitter Engineering Trade Certificate
• First Aid will be advantageous

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a TMM Artisan (Diesel Mechanic / Automotive / Electrical, etc.) in a mining operation, including at least 3 years in underground mining.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role (TMM Foreman or higher) within a mining operation.
