Engineering Tech - IGT

The Engineering Tech is a 2nd shift position, and the hours will be Saturday through Monday (12-hour shift)
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
+ Review parts that have been placed on hold in all areas of the plant (wax, shell, casting, and post-cast)
+ Based on directions provided by engineering and knowledge developed on the job, determine appropriate actions to be applied to release the parts from hold status for rework, scrap, or continue processing “as is”
+ Provide manufacturing with rework instructions and guidance
+ Perform engineering activities as assigned to provide engineering support during hours when engineers are not present


Skills & Abilities
+ Strong oral and written communication skills. Capable of effective communication with all levels of the plant personnel.
+ Must be self-motivated, an independent thinker, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
