Engineering Technician

Summary This position is location within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System, is located in the Engineering Service, Project Engineering and Design Section. Responsibilities The primary duties of the position involve coordinating, technical overview, and inspection of construction projects and programs, as well as other technical assignments involving application of engineering principles using judgment and accepted engineering design and construction practices. Duties Include, but not limited to the following: Maintaining all as built drawings for the enterprise. Participates in engineering surveys and initiates, formulates and adapts design plans, specifications.
