English Language Learning (ELL) Specialist

Halifax Public Libraries invites INTERNAL and EXTERNAL applications for the permanent, seasonal position of English Language Learning (ELL) Specialist at Woodlawn Public Library. This position is seasonal up starting August 24, 2026 to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension until June 2027 and will resume annually from September to March and/or June .

This position is dependent on grant funding approval. There is a two-week unpaid break from December to January.
This is a unionized position, preference will be given to internal applicants from the NSUPE local 14 bargaining unit.
