English Language Teaching Assistant (ELTA)

We're seeking a passionate ELTA for our primary school in Hong Kong. Working hours & Dates: 8:15 a.m. 4:15 p.m. Mondays to Fridays Starting ASAP Duties: Co-teach with junior form English teachers in carrying out the Space Town Programme designed by the EDB. Co-plan with junior form English teachers and Classroom Assistants regularly as timetabled during school hours. Prepare lesson plans, worksheet adaptation and agenda items prior to co-planning meetings. Participate in co-planning meetings (taking turns to chair the meetings) and keep records/minutes of all co-planning meetings in the teachers drive. Instruct classroom assistants in preparing and ordering all related teaching resources and materials. Provide ongoing professional feedback and support for existing English teachers to carry out a Space Town lesson and modify their teaching strategies.
