Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and annotate speech and linguistic data using phonetic principles and IPA notation.
• Support development, testing, and evaluation of speech recognition and synthesis systems.
• Collaborate with linguists, engineers, and researchers to refine pronunciation databases and language resources.
• Assist in curating, organizing, and maintaining audio datasets for language technology projects.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and training materials.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in phonetic transcription and annotations.
• Continuously learn and apply advancements in phonetics and language technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Phonetics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
