Enrolled Nurse - Acute & Inpatient Services

Based in Ward 2 at Ashburton Hospital, this is a casual Enrolled Nurse position. You will primarily work in Ward 2 (Assessment, Treatment, Rehabilitation for non‑weight‑bearing patients, 18 beds) and also cover Ward 1 (21‑bed acute medical ward). In this fast‑paced environment, you will care for a wide variety of patients, including high dependency, medical, and palliative care patients.

About You

You will be solution‑focused, with excellent time‑management skills, confident in negotiating and engaging with a wide variety of people. You are flexible, adaptable and able to problem‑solve across all inpatient areas under pressure within the nursing team.

Skills & Experience

• General medical/surgical and/or Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation experience – essential.
• NZ Transitioned Enrolled Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Working at Health New Zealand.
