Enterprise Server Programmer (IBM Mainframe)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Enterprise Server Programmers to join our team and support development activities on IBM Mainframe environments. The role involves coding, modifying, testing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications running on z/OS and CICS, along with working on JCLs, DB2, and VSAM file structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, and document mainframe programs using COBOL for z/OS and CICS COBOL.
• Create, update, and maintain JCLs used for compilation, linkage, and execution.
• Analyse program specifications, define testing conditions, and prepare relevant test data.
• Prepare JCLs to load DB2 tables and define VSAM files for various testing phases (stress, regression, performance).
• Support creation of production-ready DB2 and VSAM datasets after successful testing.
• Prepare and maintain detailed program and system documentation.
