About the role

As an Nipper Operator, you’ll be a key player in our underground mining team, supporting both Development and Production cycles. 

An Underground Nipper Operator supports production crews by preparing work areas, handling materials and assisting with services underground. The role focuses on keeping headings supplied, work fronts clean and crews operating safely and efficiently. Nippers play a vital role in ground support, service installation and day‑to‑day underground operations, working closely with Jumbo, Charge‑Up and Development teams.

Your day-to-day will include:

• General mine services and housekeeping
• Identifying and managing safety hazards
