Job Summary

The Manitoba Environment and Climate Change is seeking a qualified Environment Officer to administer, inspect, and enforce environmental regulations and permits.

Duties

Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, responsibilities include:

• Administration, inspection, and enforcement of regulations, licences, orders, and permits under the Environment Act, Contaminated Sites Remediation Act, Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act, Waste Reduction and Prevention Act, and Ozone Depleting Substances Act.
