Environment Reclamation Specialist

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Supervisor, Environmental, you will be part of the Environment Department. You will manage the planning, organization, supervision, and control of reclamation activities and studies related to the environmental field. Some projects will include fish habitat offsetting plans, environmental site assessment (ESA), revegetation planning, landfarm & landfill closures, closure water quality monitoring program, and other environmental monitoring programs. You will lead the project from the evaluation phase to the final selection of the restoration concept, its implementation, and monitoring of performance. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
