Environment & Social Safeguards Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Environment & Social Safeguards Specialist provides technical expertise and operational support for the implementation of WWF-Indonesia's Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework (ESSF) across the Aceh Program and supports safeguard integration within the broader Sumatra Landscape.

The position works closely with program teams, partners, and management to identify and address environmental and social risks, strengthen safeguard compliance, support stakeholder engagement processes, and promote the integration of human rights, Indigenous Peoples' rights, Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), and safeguarding principles throughout the project cycle.
