Environmental Aide I - Per Diem (12:00am-8:00am) HMC

Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Hackettstown Medical Center. Required hours are: 12:00AM - 8:00AM, including every other weekend. Starting rate $21.21/hr.

This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teenhiring initiative (specific shifts)

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

+ General cleaning, empty trash, high/low dusting, mop floors, sanitize all furniture inpatient rooms, clean commode, clean bathrooms and discard debris, remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms.

+ EVS Aide will also need to work at Union Campus.

+ Position includes cleaning of bodily fluids.

Requirements:

+ HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment.

+ To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
