Environmental Aide I - PT (7:00am-3:00pm) CMC

Atlantic Health is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Chilton Medical Center. Required hours are: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, including alternating weekends. Starting rate: $18.50/hr

Essential Function/Responsibilities:


+ Utilizes appropriate cleaning equipment in cleaning all nursing units, patients' rooms and all other designated facility areas, including the floors, woodwork, sills, vents, sinks, furniture etc.

+ Follows the department's policies and procedures on cleaning, disinfecting and deodorization.

+ Cleans up major spills when necessary and responds to pages in a timely manner.

+ Cleans and restocks housekeeping carts at the end of each shift.

+ Removes all trash and linen within the hospital.

+ Follows directions carefully for cleaning solution preparations and handling of bio-hazard materials.
