Environmental Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced marine engineering professional to join our Technical Department as an Environmental Compliance Officer. This new role strengthens our fleet's environmental performance and ensures the highest standards of operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and brief senior officers on environmental compliance expectations
• Monitor crew changes and ensure timely officer onboarding
• Reinforce correct bilge, sludge, and waste handling procedures
• Verify equipment condition & status (Wilden pumps, hoses, tags)
• Oversee ORB quality, OWS testing, and documentation standards
• Support audits, training materials, and environmental campaigns
• Manage environmental integration for new entries in management
• Provide ad hoc technical and compliance support
