ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

Summary You will serve as an ENVIRONTMENTAL ENGINEER in the ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICE of PSNS and IMF. SALARY RANGE: GS-11: $83,935 - $109,122 GS-12: $100,602 - $130,786 Responsibilities You will provide engineering expertise for the operation, maintenance, and design of equipment and facilities to support environmental programs. You will review technical work documents for compliance with Shipyard instructions and regulatory requirements. You will recommend corrective action for identified deficiencies. You will lead the development of permits, annual reports, inspection responses, and correspondence with regulatory agencies. You will provide support to other organizations to assist in planning or resolving compliance issues. You will coordinate inspections with regulatory agencies.
