About the job
- Working closely with management, this role involves creating and implementing the Emergency Action Plan and acting as the central point of contact for all site-related EHS issues, including incident reporting, investigation, and resolution.
- Develops, maintains, and directs the execution of the local health, safety, security, and environmental management systems.
- Takes ownership of EHS incident management and drives implementation of programs and actions stemming from risk assessments and post-incident follow-up.
- Organizes and performs site-wide EHS meetings, audits, and inspections to monitor regulatory compliance, assess performance, determine corrective measures, and verify their effectiveness.
- Provides expert guidance to site personnel, contractors, and visitors on all health, safety, and security matters, ensuring strict adherence to all company, industry, local, and national standards.
