12 Month Contract With A local Authority Job Purpose To deliver a high-quality environmental health and public protection service, ensuring compliance with environmental health legislation and contributing to the Councils corporate priorities. The postholder will undertake complex investigations, enforcement activities, and regulatory interventions to improve public health, safety, and environmental standards across the borough while supporting the development of junior officers. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections of commercial premises and enforce environmental health legislation. Investigate complaints, incidents, and complex environmental health cases. Prepare reports, case files, witness statements, and prosecution documentation.
