One of my local authority clients based in Norfolk are on the lookout for an 2 interim Housing Standards Officers to support their team.

There is one Full Time Role and one Part Time Role

Contract: 6 Months +

Rate: Negotiable DOE

Start Date: January

Hours: 37 p/w and 24 p/w

Working pattern:

2 days on-site for Full Time

1 day on-site for Part Time

1) Conduct HHSRS property inspections.

2) Carry out necessary enforcement actions on both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hazards in line with the Housing Act 2004.

3) HMO inspections and related licensing.

There is an expectancy to hit the ground running therefore recent previous experience conducting HHSRS inspections within a local authority setting is essential.
