Environmental Health Officer/Food Verifier

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Deliver education, monitoring, inspections, and audits in compliance with various Acts and regulations, including Food Act 2014, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, and others.
• Schedule and conduct regular inspections and audits, ensuring accurate processing of applications and reports within statutory guidelines.
• Investigate and respond promptly to complaints, taking enforcement actions when necessary, such as issuing notices or legal actions.
• Stay updated on legislation, seeking clarification when needed, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
• Collaborate with team members, provide enforcement, monitoring, and advice on Environmental Health matters, and contribute to the development of policies and educational programs.
