Environmental health safety engineer

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening the Health, Safety, Hygiene and Environment (HSE) culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and the consistent implementation of practices that protect our staff and maintain operational excellence.

Legal and regulatory compliance in HSE :

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, international standards (OHSAS/ISO) and client requirements regarding Safety, Hygiene, Occupational Health and the Environment.

Audits and continuous improvement:

Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits, follow up on findings, implement corrective actions and promote continuous improvement initiatives, including 5 S methodologies.

Documentation, reporting and incident investigation:

Ensure the safety and well-being of staff through compliance with policies, procedures, inspection programmes, loss prevention and mitigation measures.
