Environmental Lead

This position shall be responsible for creating and developing the organization's sustainability strategies, over-all compliance of the facility in the environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, internal policies and procedures. This position shall develop, implement and evaluate the Environmental Management Programs and mitigation of environmental effects towards sustainable operations.

• Develops and supervises implementation of Environmental programs and plans to ensure attainment of Environmental objectives and goals including but not limited to compliance requirements of regulatory agencies, internal and external stakeholders and other sustainability strategies.
• Supervises emergency response operations in the event of incidents (e.g. environmental incidents, concerns and/or community complaints in relation to plant operations and generated wastes, etc.) and develop/update Environmental procedures and emergency protocols/work instructions.
