Environmental Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Qualified Environmental Officer (QEO) registered with the Department of Environment (DOE), Malaysia, to oversee and ensure full compliance with EIA approval conditions and environmental regulations for sewage treatment project at Batu Kawan, Penang.

The QEO will act as the official environmental representative to DOE and is responsible for supervising environmental management, monitoring, and reporting in accordance with project EIA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental quality act and subsidiary regulations
• Implement, monitor, and review Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and EIA approval conditions
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits
• Prepare, endorse, and submit DOE-required environmental reports
