Environmental Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Competent Environmental Officer (CEO) to support environmental implementation and monitoring of construction of sewage treatment plant at Batu Kawan, Penang. The candidate will work under supervision to ensure daily site activities comply with environmental requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
• Conduct routine site environmental inspections
• Monitor dust, noise, water pollution, erosion and sediment control measures
• Maintain environmental records, checklists, and monitoring data
• Assist in scheduled waste management and documentation
• Support environmental audits and site inspections
• Conduct toolbox talks and environmental awareness briefings
• Report environmental issues and non-compliance to QEO / Project Manager
