PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To maintain or improve environmental performance on an operational level and ensure compliance to environmental legislation and standards. Qualifications and Requirements A relevant diploma/degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Management/Natural Science is essential Minimum of 3 years of environmental management experience in mining or similar industry is essential Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential Honours degree & relevant professional certificates would be an advantage (ISO 14001 implementation and Environmental laws) Experience in Environmental management system would be an advantage Professional registration with SACNASP or EAPASA would be an advantage Valid Medical Certificate, or medically fit to obtain such a certificate Driver's License Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with environmental legislation (NEMA & SEMAs, NWA, NHA etc.) Communicate environm...
