Environmental Officer - Steel Manufacturing

Purpose: To ensure the companys environmental compliance in accordance with statutory requirements, and to oversee the proper operation, maintenance, and performance including dust, noise, erosion, sediment, and waste. Responsibility: Implement and maintain with environmental laws and DOE requirements policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements. Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental laws, DOE requirements, and project EMP. Implement environmental control measures including dust, noise, erosion, sediment, and waste management. Conduct regular workplace inspections, environmental audits, and risk assessments. Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Manage scheduled waste in accordance with DOE regulations. Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients on environmental matters and inspections.
