Summary The Roseburg VA Medical Center (RVAMC) Green Environmental Management Systems (GEMS) program manager is the key member of the RVAMC GEMS Committee responsible for implementing, developing, maintaining, and ensuring the GEMS Program remains compliant with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System across RVAMC organizational elements. Responsibilities Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Responsible for coordinating the efforts of RVAMC staff involved with the GEMS to ensure that the GEMS are developed and implemented in accordance with VHA and VA medical center policy and guidance. The GEMS program manager is further responsible for ensuring that the GEMS results in findings and conclusions that lead to continual improvement of environmental programs at the RVAMC.
