ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Installation Support Directorate (ISD), Public Works Division (PWD) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will evaluate completed work and secure compliance with environmental laws and programs through permitting, self-assessments, audits, inspections, investigations and corrective actions. You will review proposed actions and ensure that environmental effects are considered in planning and decision making; implement legislative proposals, regulations, standards, policies and operating guidance. You will evaluate environmental quality, standard violations, and the development of pollution control strategies to attain compliance with those standards.
