Environmental Science Co-op Student

The Environmental Science Co‑op Student supports the MEMS Environmental Services team by assisting with environmental assessment, monitoring, and remediation projects across regulatory, biophysical, contaminated sites, and water resource disciplines.

This role is designed for a post‑secondary student currently enrolled in Environmental Sciences, Water Resources, Geology (with a water specialization), or a related program who is seeking practical, hands‑on experience through a structured co‑op or internship placement. The position provides exposure to both field and office‑based work while reinforcing MEMS’ core values of Service, Quality, Trust, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Field Support

• Assist with field programs related to environmental site assessments, biophysical surveys, groundwater and surface water sampling, and environmental monitoring under the supervision of senior staff.
