Environmental Scientist- Remediation

Job Description

AECOM Environment team is looking for an Environmental Scientist to assist in environmental investigation programs such as environmental drilling investigation, soil, groundwater and soil vapour sampling. This role will be based in Halifax, NS.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
• Gather and maintain records of scientific data for the supervisor, including environmental sampling, operations, maintenance and inspections at client sites.
• Assist with calculations, set up and operate equipment, inspect equipment and installations for compliance with specifications, and maintain proper project documentation.
• Collect and enter data, applying technical principles and theories under supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience.
