  Overview 
  Hire Resolve’s client in the renewable energy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Specialist in Cape Town. 
  Responsibilities: 
  Project Development: 
  Support Project Developers managing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for new projects, focusing on mitigating environmental risks.Ensure compliance with IFC Performance Standards from project initiation.Assist in drafting Environmental Management Program Reports (EMPr) and maintain up-to-date knowledge on environmental legislation.Support biodiversity offsets and manage a biodiversity legal database. 
  Business Development: 
  Address environmental gaps in lender due diligence and ensure compliance with IFC Performance Standards.Adapt Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) to project-specific contexts.
