About the role
As a Claims Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of life and disability claims, applying your expertise to deliver fair, transparent, and outcome-focused decisions. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage sensitive discussions with members and stakeholders. 
Day to day, you'll:
Assess and manage complex claims, including Income Protection and TPD, by reviewing contractual, medical, functional, and occupational information.
Conduct detailed interviews and collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate understanding of conditions and return-to-work planning.
Develop and execute strategic case management plans to achieve optimal outcomes for members.
Communicate clearly and professionally in challenging situations, balancing empathy with commercial considerations.
