Position Summary:

Electrophysiology RN is known as an EPS nurse who works with patients who have arrhythmia conditions.EPS RN delivers cardiac patient care in a sub specialized environment in Electrophysiology ranging from basic to complex needs. EPS RN is expected to carry out tasks in a manner consistent with Performance Improvement and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.EPS RN demonstrates clinical excellence through proficient practice which enhances the practice environment.Proficiency is evidenced by adeptness, aptitude, ease and skill managing complexity and uncertainty. The EP RN is responsible for becoming adept with the medications and procedures to care for patients with arrhythmias and understand the use of cardiac devices.
