Equine Medicine Specialist

We have a seasonal position available for an equine medicine specialist (DipECEIM, DipACVIM or Australian Fellow) in our ICU, commencing August 2026. We are particularly looking for someone with skills in critical care and neonatology. The position will be primarily hospital based with occasional visits on to local stud farms to provide second opinion consultations. The successful applicant will work alongside three other equine medicine specialists to provide a high level of veterinary care to critically ill neonatal foals, adult horses and post-operative patients. We admit approximately 1000 cases to the ICU per year, of which ******* are critically ill neonatal foals. The on-call roster is currently a 1 in 4 for weeknights and weekends.
