Equipment Control Manager

Purpose

The function of this role is the Head of Department who will be responsible for managing and leading a department to manage principal's import container shipments, transshipment, export containers control and releasing containers. Lead the Equipment Control Department and ensure best practice & market leading Logistics services are provided by the Company to the Principal.

Responsibilities

Equipment Logistics on behalf of Principals:

· Plan and coordinate equipment logistics (inventory control, repair and maintenance) in Country on behalf of various Principals.

· Maintain strict inventory control of containers to ensure meeting export requirements and requests by customers.

· Initiate and execute equipment re-positioning to balance container distribution between surplus and deficit locations as per principal instructions.

· Analyze and improve equipment turnaround time, idle time, and repair time.
