Equipment Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Equipment engineers will evaluate, inspect, enhances and maintain, design, analyse problem and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment. Engineers usually work in distinct areas, such as electrical, mechanical or electronics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures 100% working condition on all production equipment in order to attain good productivity without any downtime.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems concerning the operation and performance of machines.
• Performs periodic and non-periodic preventive maintenance of all equipments and tools.
• Performs set-up, installation and configuration of machines.
• Generate equipment downtime report, updates equipment checksheets and control charts.
• Performs correlation and checking of all machines.
• Assures proper use, care and safekeeping of tools, instruments and spares.
