Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze the properties and performance of materials to determine suitability for specific applications.
• Develop new materials or improve existing materials for enhanced performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
• Conduct failure analysis on materials and recommend solutions to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to select appropriate materials for projects.
• Test materials using a variety of techniques and equipment (e.g., tensile testing, microscopy, spectroscopy).
• Ensure materials comply with environmental and safety standards.
• Document findings, prepare technical reports, and present results to stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in materials science and technology.
